General information on the application studies conducted
Clinical-dermatological efficacy application studies were carried out on various products from the Spilanthox therapy care range for NB Green Cosmetics GmbH at the TÜV Rheinland-certified and independent testing center Dermatest GmbH, Engelstrasse 37, 48143 – Münster, which meet the relevant scientific requirements for such studies. 20 female test subjects, aged between 32 and 54 and with healthy skin, took part in each of the application studies. Participation in the studies was voluntary and all subjects were able to complete the study.

20 female test subjects with healthy skin aged 32 to 52 took part in the application study carried out by NB Green Cosmetics GmbH on the products “Spilanthox therapy Direct Wrinkle Stop” and “Spilanthox therapy High-Potency Facelift Booster”. Before using the products, the depth of individual wrinkles was measured in the test area (eye area). The tested products were then applied by the test subjects in the test area. The product “Spilanthox therapy Direct Wrinkle Stop” was applied to the left eye area and the product “Spilanthox therapy High-Potency Facelift Booster” to the right eye area. 15 minutes after applying the products, the depth of individual wrinkles was measured again. The measurements showed a significant improvement in the depth of wrinkles for both products in every single test subject. With the product “Spilanthox therapy Direct Wrinkle Stop”, an improvement in the depth of individual wrinkles of up to 65.53% was found 15 minutes after application. The product “Spilanthox therapy High-Potency Facelift Booster” showed an improvement in the depth of individual wrinkles of up to 56.13% 15 minutes after application.

20 female subjects with healthy skin aged 32 to 52 also took part in the study concerning the products “Spilanthox therapy Extreme Night Repair”, “Spilanthox therapy Direct Wrinkle Stop” and “Spilanthox therapy High-Potency Facelift Booster”. Over a period of 4 weeks, the product “Spilanthox therapy Extreme Night Repair” was applied twice daily and the products “Spilanthox therapy Direct Wrinkle Stop” and “Spilanthox therapy High-Potency
Facelift Booster” was applied to the face once in the evening (alternating every two days) before the night cream. After a single application of the product “Spilanthox therapy Extreme Night Repair”, the depth of individual wrinkles was measured after 15 minutes. This measurement showed an improvement in the depth of wrinkles in every single test person. A significant improvement of up to 51.02% was proven.
Even after four weeks of using "Spilanthox therapy Extreme Night Repair", "Spilanthox therapy Direct Wrinkle Stop" and "Spilanthox therapy High-Potency Facelift Booster" in the described combined manner, the measurement of the individual wrinkle depth showed an improvement in every single test person. 20 female subjects with healthy skin aged between 32 and 52 also took part in the study on the product “Spilanthox therapy eye care”. The test subjects applied the product twice a day for four weeks, specifically in the eye area. After just one application of this product, a measurement of the depth of individual wrinkles after 15 minutes showed an improvement in the depth of individual wrinkles of up to 77.28%.
After four weeks of using the product “Spilanthox therapy eye care”, the measurement of the individual wrinkle depth showed an improvement of up to 70.90%.
Skin compatibility of the tested products
As part of the application study, the products tested were also examined for their skin compatibility. All of the products tested proved to be “very well” tolerated by the skin and were awarded the relevant certificates.
